Incongruence destroys belief.


Inauthenticity ruins credibility.


It doesn't matter how inspiring you are.


It doesn't matter how impressive your track record is; if your words and actions consistently misalign, you will lose followers faster than you can pay lip service to the next empty message.


Let your beliefs and values be self-evident.


Live your company's culture obviously and unashamedly.


Do what you say on the tin.


Finally, remember that you don't always have to be 'jazz hands'. Authenticity is more important than positivity.


Inspiration is important, but not at the detriment of congruence.
