It was brilliant to work with you during the session. Thank you for being a great group to work with.

Here are the flipcharts from the session.

I mentioned a couple of books during the session. For those who like to read, here are the references.

  • The Leadership Challenge - Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. (My favourite book on leadership, and their research often shows up in our leadership development programmes.)

  • The Solutions Focus - Mark McKergow and Paul Z. Jackson. (A must-read for anyone in management roles. Especially when there are multiple problems to solve quickly.)

  • The Art of Possibility - Rosamund and Benjamin Zander. (More of a personal development book, but with a twist, Ben is a conductor and the musical director of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and Rosamund is a therapist. I found the book insightful, touching, and thought-provoking.

Here's Ben Zander's TED Talk that I also mentioned. It's an unusual TED, but it's worth a watch. There are numerous leadership-related insights in it, but I also love it for how Zander is able to lead and quickly change the audience's state throughout the talk.

Kelly McGonigal's TED was also mentioned during the day. The research she shares is fascinating.

Please take your key learning and insights and apply them as soon as you can. I appreciate how busy you are, but the sooner you put your new insights into action, the more easily they will become new habits.

Finally for now, I would love to continue working with you. If there is any opportunity to do so, please get in touch via richard@twentyoneleadership.com or call me on +447932725113.

Warmest regards,

Richard
