I am really looking forward to working with you during the upcoming Next Gen Leadership Development Programme.
The programme has been created for people in the business who have the potential to be senior leaders in the organisation in the future. Over the coming months, you will experience and explore some of the latest and best in leadership, team development, strategy, culture, communication and coaching and influencing.

Inspiring Leadership - Workshop 1 Preparation
The first event focuses primarily on the top four characteristics that, when demonstrated consistently, make us outstanding leaders. These are particularly important to master as you consider the journey from being a subject matter exprt, to being a leader in the organisation.
To help you prepare for the session, I would like you to answer the following three simple questions.
What is the distinction between managing and leading?
What would you guess are the top four characteristics that make us outstanding leaders?
As you embark on this exciting programme, what will make it an outstandingly valuable experience?

Logistics
Workshop 1 date and times: 9th October, starting at 09:30 and finishing at 16:00
Location: The collaboration room
What to bring, what to wear and how to show up: We will provide programme materials, so you just need to bring something to write with. There isn't a dress code; most people come to our programmes dressed as they would for work.
I am very conscious that some people come to our programmes excited and see them as an opportunity to learn, grow and develop. Others come a little more tentatively and occasionally a little sceptical. My request is that whichever of these describes you best, come with an open mind. Participants in our programmes are consistently surprised both by how much they get out of them and how much they enjoy them.
