Ascot Director's Leadership Programme - Workshop 2 Follow Up

I really enjoyed our day working together last week, for somewhat unexpected reasons. While it's never great to have interruptions during learning events, having the team deal with live challenges while learning together can embed the learning more quickly and make it more meaningful.

While there's a pause in the programme until after the season, the coming months are a perfect opportunity to test yourself and ensure that you're putting your learning into action during your busiest time.

Committing to action

Here's what I would like you to do:

  1. Review your learning, insights and commitments from the first two workshops

  2. Write 3-5 learning commitments from the first two events. They must be specific, actionable behaviours that will help the team perform at an elite level and demonstrate that you are modelling the way as a leader.

  3. Send the commitments to me.

I'll capture everyone's commitments, and we'll review them together when we reconvene in early October.

This really is the perfect time to create new leadership habits, both individually and collectively. And in an industry where Ascot is driving change, this must begin with you. Right now, during your busiest time.
